Founded by Andrea Plell in 2008, Ecologique Fashion
is on a mission to support a paradigm shift in the
fashion industry by promoting regeneration and
ethical business practices.
Andrea Plell is a sustainable fashion consultant and creative director passionate about supporting a shift towards a more regenerative and environmentally sustainable fashion industry. While obtaining her marketing degree at San Diego State University, Andrea independently produced the first ethical fashion event in Southern California, Ecologique: Fashion for a Green Future (2008), in addition to launching the eco fashion publication REFIX Magazine (2010). She is backed by ten years of professional sales and marketing experience, combined with six years of event production and public relations experience.
Andrea offers PR consulting services, through Ecologique Fashion, and is best known for her work with non-profit Fibershed in producing the Fibershed Fashion Gala (2013), the runway show for the Grow Your Jeans Project (2015) and the Climate Beneficial Gala (2017). She is a member of the Ethical Writers & Creatives Coalition with published works on Ethical Fashion Forum ,Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, ELUXE Magazine, SOMA Magazine and Ecouterre (find a selection of her written works here). Plell is also the co-founder of The Sustainable Fashion Alliance and the West Coast Regional Director for Fashion Revolution. For her work, Andrea has been recognized on television and in several publications.
