Founded by Andrea Plell in 2008, Ecologique Fashion
is on a mission to support a paradigm shift in the
fashion industry by promoting regeneration and
ethical business practices.
Andrea Plell is a sustainable fashion consultant and creative director passionate about supporting a shift towards a more regenerative and environmentally sustainable fashion industry. While obtaining her BS in business marketing at San Diego State University, Andrea independently produced the first ethical fashion event in Southern California, Ecologique: Fashion for a Green Future (2008), in addition to launching the eco fashion publication REFIX Magazine (2010). She is backed by ten years of professional sales and marketing experience, combined with six years of event production and public relations experience.
Andrea offers consulting services, through Ecologique Fashion, and is best known for her work with non-profit Fibershed in producing the Fibershed Fashion Gala (2013) and the runway show for the Grow Your Jeans Project (2015). She is a member of the Ethical Writers Coalition with published works on Ethical Fashion Forum ,Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator’s blog, SOMA Magazine and Ecouterre. For her achievements, Andrea has been recognized on television and in several publications including The Examiner. She was also named one of the “Top Ten Innovators Under 30″ by 944 Magazine in 2010.
