Fall has arrived and Myrrhia Fine Knitwear is kicking off the season with a fashion film unveiling its Fall 2012 100% Merino Wool Collection which includes vests, sweaters, cardigans, and dresses made of light, stretchy wool that are easy to care for and don’t wrinkle.

Each garment is loomed from 100 percent soft worsted merino wool, spun in Springvale, Maine and knit and sewn sustainably at designer Myrrhia Resneck’s shop in Oakland, CA.
Available in a variety of colors and tones from cool violets, warm oranges, and formal neutrals, Myrrhia Fine Knitwear’s Fall 2012 line is designed to skirt a line between the stylishly casual and the soberly formal.
Neither flashy, nor understated, each piece is designed to foster self-expression, says founder Myrrhia Resneck. “Human creativity itself was the inspiration for the collection,” she said. “The radiating pattern tries to evoke the dynamic energy inside of everyone.”
Founded in 2010, Myrrhia Fine Knitwear is a contemporary women’s knitwear line headquartered in Oakland, Ca. We make clothes that are not costumes, not armor, not uniforms, but a form of self-expression.We work only with yarns and fibers that are grown and spun in the USA, choosing local and organic whenever possible. Our inspiration is self-actualization:
